New prices for Triumph Thailand

There have been mounting rumours, confirmed in part by Triumph Thailand, that the whole line-up will undergo a drastic price reduction. Some even in the range of 200.000Baht (around 6.300$) due to a change in marketing policy.

Triumph is not giving out any details yet, but has promised to release the new price list during the opening of this year's Bangkok Motor Show in Muang Tong Thani (29 November - 10 December).

The Omega Racer team will be there of course and give you all the details with lots of pictures.

SR Bobber by David Powell

David sent us some pictures of his completed Yamaha SR project, a very neat bobber/scrambler/brat. Whatever you want to call it, one thing is sure: it's finger-licking good!

On this bike, David used a pair of small aluminium side covers and modified them to accomodate the relocated ignition key.

He already has a new bike in the works, a 2003 Suzuki DRZ400 for which he will use a custom made "Original" SR aluminium tank. We're looking forward to see David's new creation!
