Fear not, for we now have these stainless steel rear racks specifically designed to mount on your SR with just a few easy steps. You can either mount a rigid case on it or simply strap on your bag (or your wife's suitcase).

Please note: The rack is bolt on and doesn't need any further modifications. It attaches to the shock mounts and the OEM passenger grab bar.

Fits all Yamaha SR400 and SR500, including the new S400FI.

Very pleased with the quality and design. I made some mods for a good fit to my SR400 FI: angled the rear attachment ears on the carrier to make the bracket parallel to the seat grab bars; installed a 3/8" rubber spacer between the bracket and carrier and bolted it down with larger stainless Allen bolts and nylon lock nuts. Now fits its perfect and looks sorted. Excellent product.
