Description

This is a beautiful stainless steel megaphone muffler, measuring 63cm in length and 41mm diameter at the inlet. The end cone is made of machined aluminium billet alloy.

It can be used with the original header pipe or with one of our stainless steel header pipes. (see product suggestions below)

Fits all Yamaha SR400, SR400FI and SR500.

The muffler comes with a removable dB killer.

The sound is powerful and deep.

Does this change the airflow enough to warrant getting a power commander or an ECU flash? Or can the muffler be installed safely as-is without worrying about running too lean? Robert Garcia asked on January 4, 2023

Generally speaking, if you only change the muffler, the ECU can adapt to the change in airflow. It is good practice however to keep an eye on the heat production and performance of the engine.
