I guess you can do that, as long as you don't touch the header pipes...

Do these come out far enough to protect the gear shift lever in a drop, or are they too far forward ? I have upper crash guards already. Amy Gentile asked on June 15, 2024

It always depends on the type of crash, but with upper and lower crash bars mounted, it's fair to say that your bike will be very well protected.
