The ‘Commando’

This is a fantastic, hand-crafted aluminium gas tank made to fit all carbureted and fuel injected neo-classic Triumphs (T100, Thruxton, Scrambler) up to 2015. Following the design of the stunning Norton Commando, this tank looks great on a Triumph just as well, especially if you combine it with the Commando seat cowl.

The tank is made to order.

All of our tanks have been pressure tested (Pneumatic Leak Test) with 1.7bar (=25psi) during a period of 24 hours to ensure you get a reliable and dependable product of the highest quality. They are carefully packed to withstand international transit.

The tank is longer than the stock tank and needs to be paired with a shorter seat.

The gas tank comes with a petcock and a Monza style fuel cap. The tank belt is optional.

Will this tank work with the stock seat length without modification? Is fuel filler hole located centrally or off-center? Alex asked on January 27, 2023

The tank is longer than the stock tank and needs to be paired with a shorter seat.
The tank lid is placed in the middle.

What is a clip-on dent Nicholas asked on July 14, 2022

The clip-on dents are the 2 recesses on the front sides of the tank that allow more clearance for the clip-on handlebars.
